Track: 300m dolomite, crushed granite and clay mix, with Airfence Speedway Safety System
Facilities: Full canteen and bar facilities, toilets, large spectator areas
ENTRIES CLOSE: 31st March 2019, 9pm
NOMINATION METHOD: Nominations are to be completed online. If you are unable to nominate online for any reason, please contact Shelby on 0499666036 for an alternative method.
NOMINATION FEES: $100 for first division, $50 per extra division. Late entries $150 per class
Nomination fees must be paid and received with nomination form by 9pm 31st March 2019, along with:
1. photocopies from your SKAA Log Book showing Front Cover, and proof of at least two SKAA Club meetings within the previous 12 months from close of nomination date, as per eligibility criteria
2. a copy of your Speedway Australia Annual Licence
CATEGORIES: Junior: Sub-Junior (Age 7-10 years), Junior (Age 9-16 years), Junior Standard (Age 13-16 years)
Senior: Standard, Standard Heavy, Modified, Ladies, 100cc Outlaw, 125cc Pro, 200cc Twin, 250cc Outlaw
125cc Pro class will be separated into gearbox/non gearbox if numbers permit
Undersubscribed classes will not be run.
ELIGIBILITY: Drivers must have:
1. Current Annual Speedway Australia Licence (One day licence not accepted)
2. Current SKAA Log Book
3. Proof of “on track” participation in at least two SKAA Club events on an Annual Speedway Australia Licence, within the previous 12 months, from close of nomination date, from your SKAA Driver Log Book.

Finals 15 laps

SCRUTINEERING: 9:30am - 11:30am

TRANSPONDER SYSTEM: The Mylaps transponder system will be in use. It is the driver’s responsibility to ensure they have a working transponder. If you do not have one you will not be lap scored or receive any points. Transponders will be available to hire for $30 for the day. Payment must be completed along with nomination fee. Yellow transponders not accepted or suitable for speedway tracks.

- No smoking in the pits
- No alcohol in the pits
- Correct attire to be worn in the pits
- Pit Crew require Speedway Australia insurance. One Day Pit Entry Insurance available. This is a closed Speedway Australia pit.
- Children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the pits unless competing. Children aged 12-15 who possess a Speedway Australia licence and/or insurance are permitted.
- All helmets must have rubber grommets to hold tear offs onto helmets. All used tear offs must be placed in bins. A 2cm square of rubber inner tube with a slit cut in the middle for the tear off peg will be adequate.
- The top five place getters from each division will have their kart impounded immediately after their final is finished. They must not be removed until the Chief Scrutineer gives permission. The Driver or the driver’s Pit Crew member MUST remain with the impounded kart in the impound area.
- Fuel testing will be carried out. Fuel must be as per SKAA requirements.
- In the event of a double up of numbers the host club, then state has priority.
- Raceceiver system will be in use, this is compulsory
- All engines from all classes may be sealed, please ensure you have holes drilled through 2 cylinder head nuts for engine tagging seals. (Or 1 cylinder nut is fine, as long as there is a small hole in a cylinder fin to attach the tagging seal)
- KT100s (standard or modified) engines are to have 1 cylinder nut replaced with an internal hex fitting nut (same/similar as 8mm allen key hex wheel nut).
- All karts must be scrutineered prior to practice or racing. All karts presented for scrutineering must be presented on a suitable trolley of adequate height.
- No push starting of karts with or without a clutch in any part of the pit area
- Transponders are mandatory at SKAA State and National Titles, where available. Transponders are available for hire - they are to be purchased as part of the nomination process. Drivers may use their own transponder but are responsible for ensuring it is working correctly.
- Transponders are to be mounted on the front nose cone support bar.
- NO trailers will be allowed within the pit area. Sheltered and un-sheltered pit space is freely available on a first-in-best-served basis.
- Ground sheets must be used in all pit areas to avoid damage to bitumen, grass and concrete.
